§10 ZDP · a gift, not a purchase
An optional gift to the author
Contributions are gifts that go directly to the author (Pavel Kudrna) personally — they help him pursue the roadmap below. You receive nothing in return: the pamphlet and whitepaper are freely downloadable above. Bitcoin Lightning and on-chain BTC are preferred; a CZK bank transfer is provided as a fallback for those who don't want to touch crypto.
Tax basics & receipts (Czech tax law)
If you donate from the Czech Republic, here's what you should know. Two short answers — the detail is inside each panel.
Please try to keep annual contributions under 50 000 CZK per donor.
Czech income-tax law (§10(3)(c) ZDP) exempts gifts to a natural person up to 50 000 CZK per donor per calendar year (limit valid since 2024). Anything above that threshold has to be declared in my tax return, and I have to identify the donor for the tax office. Both sides save administrative work by staying under that line.
If you genuinely want to give more in one go, email me first — we can either split it across the calendar year boundary, route part of it through the Personix Foundation (separate accounting), or arrange the proper documentation. None of this is meant to discourage generosity; it's just paperwork.
Need a receipt for your own tax deduction? Available from 1 000 CZK, on request.
Under §15(1) ZDP, a Czech individual can deduct donations made for public-interest purposes (culture, science, education, …) once their total deductible donations in a calendar year reach at least 1 000 CZK or 2 % of the tax base (whichever is lower), up to 15 % of the tax base. Below 1 000 CZK the deduction isn't available anyway, so a receipt would carry no value.
If your contribution reaches 1 000 CZK and you'd like a written confirmation in line with Czech law, email me with your full name, address, the amount, and the date and channel of payment. I will issue the receipt; it covers donations for cultural and educational purposes (writing, publishing, public outreach).
The 1 000 CZK floor is a simple administrative threshold — not required by any law — set so that the receipt-request flow can't be weaponized through serial micro-donations.
Intentions · not products
The author's roadmap
What Pavel plans to do with the donations he receives. These are his intentions, not products you can buy. Some phases finish, some don't quite know when to stop.
-
Phase 1 · Pamphlet & whitepaper
v5 shipped · more languages on the wayEN pamphlet & whitepaper are out; Czech edition finalizing; more languages follow as funds allow.
-
Phase 2 · Fundraising & outreach
The tip jar that never sleeps∞Donations and a Czech Startovač campaign — fuel for everything that follows.
-
Phase 3 · Print editions & international distribution
Print, ship, repeat∞Offset runs in Prague, then international editions; reprints don't really stop.
-
Phase 4 · Social experiment / simulation
The lab stays open∞Decentralized reputation and voluntary contracts — among willing participants, in the open.
-
Phase 5 · Open-source reference documentation
Specs that keep growing∞Protocol, identity, reputation, contracts — a replicable reference specification, all in the open.
-
Phase 6 · The "real" application — somewhere, sometime
Open invitation · not the author's workA production implementation is, by nature, at odds with every state it would touch — the author cannot officially build it. He just hopes someone, somewhere will. Donations don't fund this phase. Or maybe… 😉
For the record
Legitimate channels — and where they aren't

The channels above are my personal channels — your gift goes directly to me and helps me realise the roadmap above on my own terms. This is a donation, not a purchase: I owe you nothing in return, the writings are already public and free. Under Czech tax law this is a §10 ZDP gift, not a commercial transaction.
Other legitimate channels: author's editions of this book (QR codes printed in authorised copies) and personix.org or its Tor onion mirror — where the Personix Foundation collects for the activities described there (foundation funds kept separate from personal funds).
Anything advertised elsewhere — substituted addresses in reprints, lookalike domains, social media "raising for Personix," fundraisers not tied to either of the above — is most likely fraud. We deliberately avoid the cryptocurrency market and its participants.
Campaigns & fundraisers
Active crowdfunding and promotional campaigns (Startovač, Hithit, Indiegogo, and similar platforms) are announced exclusively here and on personix.org. Anywhere else is not us.
